Hollywood is buzzing with excitement as “Rush Hour 4” gears up for pre-production, thanks to the beloved duo of Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan reuniting on-screen. The film got the green light last November, inspired by former President Donald Trump’s comments about missing classic buddy-cop comedies, particularly wanting to see another “Rush Hour.” Talk about riding a wave of nostalgia to get the engines revving!
Director Brett Ratner is also returning to the helm after a controversial transition out of the industry in 2017 amid #MeToo allegations, which he has firmly denied. His recent success with the documentary “Melania” has paved the way for his comeback in the film world. Cameras are expected to start rolling this fall, with plenty of laughs and action anticipated as Detective Carter and Chief Inspector Lee hit the streets again. Fingers crossed they don't forget the moo shu!
